Currency
The official currency in Hungary is ‘forint’ but euro is widely accepted though not everywhere (not in small places). 1 euro is approx. 295 forints.
Bank/credit cards are also widely accepted. You can buy some souvenirs on Friday in Budapest while sightseeing, there you can find bank machines and/or exchange offices.
