eTwinning – Community for schools in Europe

eTwinning programme has been initiated by the European Committee in order to promote school collaboration in Europe through the use of various Information and Communication Technologies. It has been operating as a sub-programme of Comenius since 2007.

eTwinning programme involves teachers, kindergarten teachers as well as school librarians. It provides a full range of free online tools to enhance successful partnerships and help eTwinners carry out their eTwinning projects. The Hungarian National Support Service also provides technical and pedagogical support for the participating teachers.

Registered teachers can participate in free accredited in-service teacher training programmes or online courses. We offer them professional workshops and contact seminars across and they also have the opportunity to participate in national and international competitions with their students. eTwinning is an excellent instrument for both teachers and students to develop their foreign language skills. By joining eTwinning, teachers become members of a European teacher community.
